call of dutyActivision’s Call of Duty franchise is a huge one, which is why the company seems to be very eager at releasing a new title every year. More recently, the mobile version of the game was launched and if you thought that this might have diluted the franchise, it seems to have done the opposite.

In fact, it turns out that many people are pretty thrilled at the idea of being able to play Call of Duty on their phones, so much so that according to a report from Sensor Tower, it has been revealed that Call of Duty: Mobile has managed to earn a whopping $2 million since it was officially released on the 1st of October.

Yes, you read that right, in about a day or so since its launch, the game has managed to earn a couple of million from in-game purchases. In case you’re unfamiliar, Call of Duty: Mobile is a free-to-play game where unlike the PC/console version of the game, players will be able to download and play the mobile version for free, although there will be microtransactions for players to spend real-life money on.

The game is also said to have managed to rack up over 20 million installs since it was released, all of which suggests that the game is off to a promising start. Whether or not the game will be able to maintain its momentum remains to be seen.
