Missed That Hot Sneaker Drop? GOAT’s AR Feature Will Let You ‘Try’ Them On

For a lot of us, shoes are meant to be worn and to protect our feet or used for specific purposes like running, hiking, and so on. However, the sneakerhead community has changed the way we look at shoes, where shoes have become a hot commodity where some collect sneakers just for the sake of collection and not to wear.

It also means that more shoe makers are creating limited edition runs of shoes for collection purposes. This has led to insane queues and prices and made these shoes incredibly hard to get, so if you’re a sneakerhead and have missed out on a couple of hot drops, not to worry because GOAT has a new augmented reality feature that could be worth checking out.

For those unfamiliar, GOAT is an online sneaker marketplace and in the latest update to the app, a new AR feature has been introduced where it will allow sneakerheads to try on shoes virtually to get an idea of what it looks like. This will be useful for customers who are thinking of buying a pair of shoes but aren’t sure if it looks good on them.

It will also be a fun feature where if you’ve missed out on certain drops and releases, you can still “try” them on for a photo op. The update should already be live so make sure you’ve got the latest version of the app if you’d like to take it for a spin.
