Want to get better at eSports? If you do, then you might want to consider investing in a high-end gaming PC that will allow you to play games at a higher frame rate. Now, it might seem a bit superficial that to get good at eSports, you need better hardware, but in a demo video shared by NVIDIA, they are proving that this could be quite an important aspect to consider.

Earlier this year, NVIDIA had theorized that higher FPS could lead to gamers performing better, and now in the demo video above, they are proving that to be true. For those unfamiliar, a higher frame rate means that more images are being displayed on the screen in a single second. This is why videos played at 60fps look a lot smoother compared to those being played at 30fps.

According to NVIDIA, this is important in gaming because higher FPS also means that when it comes to screen tearing, it is less dramatic compared to lower FPS. The smoother animation also reduces the effect of ghosting, and in some instances, it can even allow gamers to spot the enemy earlier compared to players playing at lower frame rates.

This means that in theory, players can react faster and aim with more accuracy. That being said, having the best hardware doesn’t necessarily make you a better player as there are other factors involved, but if you’re looking for a way to improve, then this could be one of the ways.
