With the advancements in technology, a lot of software goodies have been integrated with a car.

Tesla cars could be an example of that. But, it may not be enough.

So, a Tel Aviv-based startup Aurora Labs in Israel is working on a “self-healing” system of detecting malfunctions or issues in a car to proactively fix it.

Of course, “self-healing” does not mean that your car will magically turn into an alien tech. Hence, it is worth noting that it is a software to fix malfunctions in a car before they happen, which is big progress.

In addition to the potential vehicle malfunctions, it can also help you update/validate in-car software without any downtime.

Technically, this system uses the flexibility of machine learning and A.I to make it easier/quick to detect/fix malfunctions in a vehicle without any downtime.

This may not be something that could completely solve all your issues with your vehicle. But, having something to fix (or suggest changes) to prevent critical failure could come in handy for a lot of people.

To make this technology accessible to a variety of car owners, Aurora Labs is in talks with some of the world’s biggest car manufacturers in Germany, the U.S, Korea, and Japan – as reported by The Jerusalem Post.
