Motorola has been a little dull with its recent mid-range smartphones. However, it looks like the new G series smartphone could be a good offering in the US.

The Moto G8 Stylus and the Moto G8 Power will be the new mid-range budget options. Even though Motorola has announced it for the US – it will be arriving later this spring (not immediately).

You can follow their official website to subscribe for updates when they arrive.

For now, we know that they’re priced at around $250 to start with the Moto G Power. The Moto G Power is tailored for users who require more battery life and the G Stylus has been designed for the users who want to probably sketch something or write down some notes quickly.

The common specifications include that they’re both powered by Snapdragon 665 coupled with 4 Gigs of RAM.

The battery size for Moto G8 Power is 5000 mAh while it is 4000 mAh for the Stylus edition. Both of them feature a full HD 6.4-inch display with rapid charge support.

However, you will find a 48 MP rear camera sensor in the Stylus edition while the G8 Power features 16 MP camera that’s tailored for macro shots as well. Both sports an ultra-wide lens – but you will find the laser autofocus only on the G8 Stylus smartphone.

Not just limited to the key specifications, you will also notice more storage offerings on the Motorola G8 Stylus smartphone. It looks like we do have a decent budget offering from Motorola for Android users. What do you think?
