Last week, the folks at DJI took the wraps off their latest gimbal designed for smartphones in the form of the DJI Osmo Mobile 4. But what about users who are looking for a gimbal for their digital cameras? We know that DJI makes gimbals for those devices as well, and the good news is that those gimbals could be arriving next month.

In a teaser put out by the company, DJI has teased a couple of new gimbals that they will be announcing in October. While the company does not specifically mention which gimbals these are, given that the Osmo Mobile 4 was just announced, there is a good chance that these gimbals could be aimed at digital cameras and will be part of the company’s Ronin gimbal lineup.

There is speculation that these could be the RS2 and RSC2 gimbals, but we won’t know until the official announcement. The last time DJI announced a new Ronin gimbal was back in 2019 with the DJI Ronin SC, which was a lighter version of its previous gimbal launches. We imagine that the new gimbals will probably continue to build on that with other improvements and upgrades.

However, it should be noted that the company’s Ronin gimbals are more expensive than the Osmo Mobile series, where the Ronin SC was priced at a little over $400, versus the new Osmo Mobile 4 which is priced at $150.
