According to the leaks and rumors, LG has a new smartphone in the works that has been referred to as the LG Wing. If you’ve been kind of curious about it and want to see how the company plans on marketing the device, you won’t have to wait too long as LG has since announced that the handset will be revealed in full on the 14th of September.

In case you’re hearing about this for the first time, the leaks have revealed a rather odd-looking handset. Basically this is a smartphone that has a display that can swivel around and reveal a secondary display under it. From the leaks we’ve seen, it would basically allow users to multitask, like having Google Maps open on one screen and the other can be used to display other content.

This will save users from having to switch back and forth between apps. What’s interesting is that so far LG has pretty much done anything but launch a smartphone with a foldable display. We’ve seen the company create alternatives to foldable handsets like selling a secondary detachable display accessory, and now this.

It will be interesting to see if LG is onto something new and exciting, so be sure to check back with us later on this month for all the official details.
