Many gamers probably know Blizzard for games like StarCraft, Warcraft, Overwatch, and Diablo, but for those who are unfamiliar, the company actually started out making arcade games. If you never got the chance to play those games, then you’ll be pleased to learn that they will soon be made available.

During BlizzConline 2021, the company announced that they will be re-releasing its arcade games that will be playable on the PC as well as various console platforms. This includes titles such as The Lost Vikings, Rock N Roll Racing, and Blackthorne. The games are expected to be released today and will be available on the PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, and will also feature Xbox Series X and PS5 backwards compatibility.

According to Blizzard, “In celebration of Blizzard’s 30th anniversary, we’ve recharged three console classics—with all the history, hard work, and love that went into making them—and added a few extras. Relive the legacy of The Lost Vikings, Rock N Roll Racing, and Blackthorne, all faithfully reproduced on modern platforms, in the Blizzard Arcade Collection!”

The entire arcade collection will be priced at $20 so it’s actually quite a steal if you want to relive those classics. It might also be a fun introduction to Blizzard’s early days where clearly the company’s portfolio of games has since evolved greatly.
