On the stage of the MWC 2024 in Barcelona, aside from its Watch S3 and the new flagship phones (1, 2) Xiaomi unveiled its latest tablet, the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4. Positioned as another cornerstone within Xiaomi’s “Human x Car x Home” ecosystem, this device comes equipped with a 12.4-inch 3K display featuring a 144Hz refresh rate and a 3:2 aspect ratio. Offering a resolution of 3048 x 2032 pixels and 294 pixels per inch, the tablet promises an immersive experience, suitable for both work and leisure.

The device’s sharp display is complemented by a robust 10,000mAh battery and HyperCharge 120W fast charging, ensuring extended battery life and reduced charging times for users.

Powering the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro we have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. However, the true highlight, according to the brand, is the Xiaomi HyperOS, a system that introduces features like Home Screen+, device collaboration, and the Xiaomi Smart Hub.

These additions aim to enhance the interconnectivity between Xiaomi devices, facilitating smoother management and interaction for users. Functions include responding to messages and answering calls directly from the tablet, as well as capturing images via the smartphone to enrich notes.

Accessories such as the Xiaomi Focus Pen and the new Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro Touchpad Keyboard are designed to enhance productivity. The touchpad on the keyboard simplifies file selection and video editing task management, while the Xiaomi Focus Pen boasts 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity and a 240Hz sampling rate.

The Tap to Share feature, activated by NFC, streamlines file sharing between devices. The new device control center, Xiaomi Smart Hub, allows the simultaneous connection of up to seven devices.

As for price and availability, they have not been announced yet, but the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4 will be available in two storage variants, catering to the diverse needs and lifestyles of users.
