At CES 2026, Hisense is doubling down on its push into high-end display technology with a new generation of RGB MiniLED televisions. Building on the company’s first consumer RGB MiniLED launch in 2025, this year’s lineup is led by the flagship 116UXS, alongside the more accessible UR9 and UR8 Series, which expand the technology across a broader range of screen sizes and price points.
The centerpiece of Hisense’s CES showing is the 116UXS, a 116-inch TV that debuts RGB MiniLED evo, a new four-primary backlight system that adds cyan to the traditional red, green, and blue structure. This design targets finer control in parts of the color spectrum where the human eye is most sensitive, enabling smoother gradients, more natural color transitions, and improved tonal nuance without oversaturation.
Powering the display is the Hi-View AI Engine RGB, which controls tens of thousands of local dimming zones, managing both light output and color independently at the zone level. Hisense claims up to 110% BT.2020 color coverage, paired with a nearly bezel-free design, a slim profile, and an integrated Devialet-tuned 6.2.2-channel audio system designed to match the TV’s cinematic scale.
Beyond the flagship, Hisense is scaling RGB MiniLED through the UR9 and UR8 Series, marking the second generation of its RGB MiniLED architecture. Available in sizes from 55 to 100 inches, these models aim to deliver richer primary colors, cleaner tonal separation, and more stable color performance than conventional MiniLED TVs, while remaining suitable for real-world living rooms.
It seems that Hisense aims to move quickly from innovation to mass availability and make advanced color-focused display technology accessible beyond the ultra-premium tier.
