HONOR is ready to unveil the MagicPad 4 at MWC 2026, and the headline is simple: this is a flagship tablet built around extreme thinness without compromising the screen, performance, or productivity features. At 4.8 mm (camera bump excluded) and roughly 450 g, MagicPad 4 lands in the “you forget it is in the bag” category for a 12-inch-class device.
A 12.3-inch OLED that prioritizes fluidity and comfort
The MagicPad 4 uses a 12.3-inch OLED panel at 3000 × 1920 (3K) with a refresh rate of up to 165 Hz. Peak HDR brightness is listed at up to 2400 nits, which is the kind of number that matters for HDR content and for visibility in bright environments.
HONOR also places significant emphasis on display comfort. The tablet lists 5280 Hz PWM dimming and TÜV Rheinland certifications (low blue light and flicker-free), plus additional features such as AI Defocus Display and DOT Eye Comfort. Whether you care about certifications or not, the goal is clear: reduce fatigue during long reading or work sessions.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 and a 10,100 mAh battery
Under the hood, we find the most powerful mobile SoC, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 (3 nm) apired with a 10,100 mAh battery. Charging is rated at 66W HONOR SuperCharge.
For sustained workloads, HONOR developed an Ice Cooling System with a 13-layer 3D thermal structure and a quoted heat dissipation area of 81,717 mm². That is the kind of spec that typically shows up when a company expects longer gaming sessions and heavier multitasking.
Eight speakers, spatial audio, and a tablet that is designed for media
Audio is an eight-speaker setup with HONOR Spatial Audio, featuring AI spatial audio. That combination is aimed at the “watch and listen anywhere” use case without relying on headphones.
PC Mode is the productivity feature that changes how the tablet is used
Where MagicPad 4 separates itself from “content-first” tablets is PC Mode. When connected to HONOR’s keyboard, it switches into a desktop-like interface with a taskbar, mouse support, and familiar shortcuts such as Alt+Tab and Ctrl+C.
During our briefing, HONOR touted up to 20 windows at once, which is impressive, given that multitasking is the priority for productivity at work.
AI features focus on meetings and notes instead of gimmicks
On the AI-driven feature side, the MagicPad 4 offers AI Memo for meeting minutes and speaker identification, along with AI Meeting Agent, Smart Reminder, and AI Summary. For calls and recordings, it also references AI voiceprint noise cancellation. If you use a tablet as your daily work device, these features can actually save you time.
Cross-device workflows include Macs and iPhones
The MagicPad 4 includes HONOR Connect for cross-device workflows including Apple hardware, which allows using the tablet as an extended screen for Mac and PCs.
