While you could say that party games on the Nintendo Wii is the new limbo, there are others who still find this relatively ancient game interesting. As with everything, giving limbo a modern twist is a hit-or-miss affair, depending on how you look at it. The String Thing Limbo lets you limbo in a dark environment, featuring a 7-foot string that boasts an integrated backlight for illumination purposes. The base of the device also plays limbo music to get the mood going, although I would have preferred the String Thing Limbo to emit a purely laser/light ‘string’ instead.
