Apple releases iPhone OS 3.1.2

Apple just rolled out the iPhone OS 3.1.2 update that supposedly fixed a bunch of issues that was associated with the software. Apple claims that the update, which works with the iPhone, iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS will improve on the following :-

  • Resolves sporadic issue that may cause iPhone to not wake from sleep
  • Resolves intermittent issue that may interrupt cellular network services until restart
  • Fixes bug that could cause occasional crash during video streaming

Of course, that isn’t the complete list, and if you can’t wait to be at the forefront of things then you might want to get cracking on the 200MB update via iTunes. Needless to say, a corresponding update for the iPod touch was also unveiled.
