Hello Kitty phone hits Japan

The latest Hello Kitty handset to hit Japan would be based on Softbank’s new ‘The Premium5’ handset from Sharp, where folks who are familiar with the naming convention there would better know it as the 942SH. This hot ticket item is currently one of the most wanted handsets in that part of the world, and Softbank just can’t keep up with the demand, instead asking their customers to settle for the Disney series phones. Strictly meant for serious Hello Kitty collectors only, don’t expect this model to be exported anywhere outside of the Land of the Rising Sun.
