HTC Patents Anti-shake Method For Video Viewing

Do you get motion sickness when you try and watch videos on your media player while on the bus/car? Well, HTC might have a solution for that, and perhaps it’ll even show up on upcoming devices. The Taiwanese company has filed a patent application that will see an accelerometer or other types of motion sensors used to detect unintended movements on the device while playing video. When detected, the device will move the image displayed in the opposite direction, effectively ensuring that the image always appears stable in space. Of course, if you’re not used to it, you’ll probably end up throwing up, but hopefully HTC will be able to work its magic on this technology, and we’ll be watching vibration free videos in the future.
