Nokia N8 Connected to a TV Can Turn your HDTV Into a Massive Touchscreen
If you’ve ever wanted a massive touchscreen like the Microsoft Surface Computing, you’re in luck as Nokia has you covered. All you need is a large television and a Nokia N8 smartphone with an HDMI cable to connect the two devices together. The prototype interface called Plug and Touch was demoed at Nokia World and utilizes the N8’s camera to detect where on your television set you’re pointing or touching to get the touchscreen action going on the larger screen. As the prototype concept is still in early development, there is a little lag.
