PlayStation Phone known as Zeus, will be based on original PSP technology

Hmmm, this is interesting. It seems that the pretty hot PlayStation Phone that we covered a couple of days ago pointed to a new era of portable gaming with the option for communicating, but now we have word that this device codenamed ‘Zeus’ has a pretty weak thunderbolt – it won’t set the portable gaming scene alight with original PSP technology crammed inside. Aren’t we in the era of the PSP-3000 already? Why is Sony putting in old tech then? Those are questions that we wish we had answers to, although we do know the gaming platform it runs on is known as the ‘Z-System’. We do hope to catch a glimpse of the Zeus on the FCC soon though.
