Carl’s Jr jumps on the location check-in bandwagon


Not all companies out there are happy to jump on the social networking bandwagon, but Carl’s Jr doesn’t seem to have that issue. The burger company has released an iOS and Android app that features GPS-based check-ins similar to how Foursquare works. Why would you want to get involved in this? Well, once you check-in four times, you get to spin the Wheel of Awesome and win prizes, such as discounted and free menu items. It’s hard to tell if the app will help lure customers away from Burger King and McDonalds, but you have to admit that the video is pretty funny
