HP has new LED backlit monitors for your every need

HP intends to spruce up their consumer monitor range, and has thus offered five new LED backlit models known as the x-Series. These new monitors are touted to increase energy efficiency by up to 43%, deliver 250 nits of brightness and a 3,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio at various sizes, starting from 20-inches and going all the way to 27-inches – all this without being thicker than an inch. Regardless of size, all of them will feature 5ms response time courtesy of twisted nematic (TN) technology, while they have also been rated to Energy STAR 5.0 and EPEAT Silver specifications for power consumption. Depending on its size, prices range from $160 and gos all the way to $400. Sounds pretty decent on paper if you’re looking to upgrade your monitor to LED status, just like how TVs in the living room are making the shift to LED technology as well.
