Kaleidescape is looking to capitalize on that with the introduction of the industry’s first Blu-ray movie server. The system stores exact copies of your Blu-ray Discs on its hard drive and makes it easier to enjoy your collection of movies. It offers high-resolution cover art combined with a brief synopsis of each film and other details to make exploring your collection of movies exciting. The bad news is that this $1,495 Modular Disc Vault will need to be connected to an individual player which will set you back at least $2,500. Still, if you’re rich enough to have a fairly large Blu-ray Disc collection, you shouldn’t have any trouble finding the money to fund this purchase.
