Of course, the one major drawback to this software would be the minimum system requirements – it needs Android 2.3 Gingerbread to run, and with so many handsets out there still not having received their Android 2.2 Froyo update just yet, it will be quite some time before VLC Player for Android beta is populated across a range of devices.
