MeeGo OS on a tablet

According to some rumors online, we might be seeing Intel-powered MeeGo tablets launching in June this year. Apparently this is in conjunction with the date that Intel’s App Up application store is expected to be ready on that month as well. The tablets are expected to launch at Computex, a major tech event that’s being held in June – one year after MeeGo on tablets was first introduced at Computex 2010. If these rumors turn out to be true, then June is going to be a real exciting month for tablets – all the big players (RIM, Apple, HP, Motorola and Samsung) should have launched their “flagship” tablets by then and it’s going to be one epic showdown to determine the “best” tablet available. But as usual with rumors, take them with a grain of salt, as rumors stay rumors until they have been officially announced. Which tablet platform are you most looking forward to this year?
