Sprint announces Novatel Wireless MiFi 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot

Sprint MiFi Wireless 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot

In addition to announcing their brand new 4G Android phone today, Sprint has also let their upcoming mobile WiFi hotspot out of the bag. The upcoming MiFi 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot is supposed to be ultra-compact, and will give up to 5 devices a connection to Sprint’s 4G WiMAX network. The Mobile Hotspot will work with tablets, eReaders, laptops, and gaming consoles as well as phones. It also has a battery life of up to 4 hours. And with a form factor about the size of a credit card, it’s a must-have for frequent travelers who don’t want to get ripped off paying exorbitant WiFi fees at hotels (just make sure there’s Sprint coverage where you’re going). The Sprint MiFi 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot by Novatel Wireless will go on sale February 27 for $49.99.
