AT&T has announced that they will be making available the Cisco Cius to business customers in the future, and before you go “What the heck is the Cius?”, let us explain – the Cisco Cius will function as an ultra-portable mobile tablet, letting on access essential business applications for just about anywhere they are, regardless of whether the sun is about the rise or set. Cisco tips the Cius to be available for AT&T’s HSPA+ network sometime in the fall this year, so executives, you have a brand new toy to play with then, assuming you’re done with your BlackBerry PlayBook by then. 

According to Shawn Conroy, vice president of voice, collaboration and unified communications services, AT&T Business Solutions, “We are mobilizing the day to day activities of our business and government customers, helping them act quicker for maximum agility and profitability. The Cisco Cius further extends our leading portfolio of enterprise mobility devices, and this is the latest example of our commitment to helping organizations of all sizes increase business velocity.”

The Cisco Cius is compatible with AT&T’s world class network and strong portfolio of unified communication services and applications, was specially designed to meet business enterprise needs.
