TRENDnet’s TEW-680MB is their latest 450Mbps Dual Band Wireless N Media Bridge which was just introduced to the market, where it will attempt to network a slew of devices and machines together such as computers, gaming consoles, televisions, and DVRs, all “talking” to the Internet at unprecedented 450Mbps wireless connection speeds. Not only that, old school geeks who swear by a wired connection will be pleased to know that there is a quartet of Gigabit Ethernet ports available, letting you connect all networked media center devices to the Internet in a jiffy.

With Dual Band technology inside, it will provide users with the option of connecting media center devices to the common 2.4 GHz network, or perhaps to the 5 GHz network if they so desire since the latter tends to offer less interference from competing networks and wireless devices.

When it comes to security, TRENDnet has got your back thanks to an external Wi-Fi Protected Setup or WPS button that will connect this wireless bridge to a router at the touch of a button. No longer do you need to go through the hassle of entering complicated encryption codes, all you have to do this time is to press the WPS button on your router, followed by the WPS button on the TEW-680MB and the devices will automatically exchange information and connect over a secure encrypted wireless signal.

For $169.99 a pop this coming fall, you will be able to get the TEW-680MB which is accompanied by a three-year warranty, now how about that?
