Sony Ericsson Xperia ray

Sony Ericsson Xperia ray, the “mini Xperia arc” was unveiled in Singapore a couple of weeks ago, but there was no word on how much the phone would cost or when we would see it on sale besides the vague Q3 date. Well it looks like the wait for the phone will last for at least another month – according to UK phone retailer, Play.com.

The Xperia ray is now up for pre-order in the UK for £349 ($562) and is said to be arriving in August. The Xperia ray is touted as the smaller version of the Xperia arc – featuring a smaller 3.3″ Reality Display, 1Ghz processor, Mobile BRAVIA Engine, Android 2.3 Gingerbread and heavy Facebook integration. The phone also features an 8.1-megapixel camera with an Exmor R sensor (for excellent pictures in low light settings), and a front facing camera for video calls. At only 9.4mm thick and 100g light, it’s one chic-looking phone to own.

If you’re interested in pre-ordering the Xperia ray, just head over to Play.com or the Carphone Warehouse today.
