Find out how to install CyanogenMod on your TouchPad

HP TouchPadWhen HP bid farewell to webOS, people weren’t too worried about future support for the TouchPad thanks to the strong developer community. One of these groups were in charged with bringing Android over to the HP TouchPad via the famous CyanogenMod custom ROM. Well, they’ve successfully managed to port over an alpha build of the platform over to the TouchPad which is far from fully functional, but still usable though not as a daily operating system.

Thanks to the folks over at Liliputing.com, you now can install CyanogenMod on your own TouchPad tablet. They’ve put up the instructions on how to create a dual-boot setup for your TouchPad so you can choose between running Android or webOS – great for folks who only have one tablet and want to experiment with it. Again, be sure to back up your tablet as usual and read the instructions carefully before attempting anything. But if everything goes as planned – you’ll end up with a TouchPad that can boot up in Android or webOS. Sweet! Hit the source link for the instructions.
