If you prefer mashing on arcade style buttons as opposed to a gamepad controller, MadCatz has yet another offering for you in the form of the FightStick Tournament Edition for the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360. This time it looks like MadCatz will be adopting the Soul Calibur V theme for this version of the FightStick Tournament Edition, which will look great when you hook it up to your console in anticipation of the upcoming Soul Calibur V game.

No word on pricing for the Soul Calibur V themed FightStick Soul Edition, but it is expected to see a release in January of 2012, and should be released alongside the game itself. For more information you can check out the press release below.

SOULCALIBUR™ V Arcade FightStick Soul Edition Is Expected to Launch Worldwide January 2012

SAN DIEGO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Mad Catz Interactive, Inc. (“Mad Catz”) (AMEX/TSX: MCZ) announced today that it has entered into an agreement with Namco Bandai Games Inc, to produce the SOULCALIBUR™ V Arcade FightStick Soul Edition, a Tournament Edition fighting game controller for use with the upcoming SOULCALIBUR V videogame. The agreement gives Mad Catz worldwide rights to ship products for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system from Sony®.
