If you’ve been looking forward to Retro City Rampage and wondering if it is going to be released on your shiny new PlayStation Vita which you’ll purchase this week – your prayers have been answered. Today it was announced on the official PlayStation blog that Retro City Rampage, the GTA-inspired pseudo-retro game that’s slated to arrive later this year will be coming to the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.For those of you who haven’t heard of it before, you can probably think of it as a Grand Theft Auto parody (we’re talking about the first game here – the one you played in MS-DOS) with more retro-looking graphics, pop culture references and a variety of different gameplay mechanics. Despite being unreleased, the game has already won multiple accolades, so it’s definitely something that a lot of people are looking forward to – hopefully it lives up to the hype.
