Back in 2011, T-Mobile hinted that the HTC Amaze 4G would be receiving the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update. Nearly five months later we have yet to see the update but we could be close. Thanks to XDA forum member Football, owners of the HTC Amaze 4G will now be able to download an purported leaked version of the official Android 4.0 build that was meant for their device. So far there have been reports of success with the flashing of the ROM and if you own the HTC Amaze 4G and you’d like to check it out for yourself, head on over to the XDA forums for the download. Remember to read all the instructions carefully and always backup your phone before attempting to mod it. However for those who’d rather not take the risk, we’re hoping that this leaked build is an indication that an official release is close at hand. Be sure to check back with us at a later date as we’ll be sure to inform you when the update has officially be made available for your phone.
