Half Life 3 is one of the games that many gamers have been anticipating, but unfortunately there has been no word from Valve regarding the game – at least until yesterday. As you can see in the screenshot above, the Steam website has outed the release of the game claiming that it is now available for $59.99. Sounds too good to be true? That’s because it is. It seems that this yet another April Fool’s joke by the company and taking a closer look at the URL (steamppowered.com), it would appear that it is a fake.

Sorry gamers, it looks like whoever decided to come up with this website sure has a pretty cruel sense of humor. Or could this be a hint? In any case we will not be speculating on whether Half Life 3 does indeed exist (there have been many rumors already regarding this), but head on down to the fake Steam website to see for yourselves. It should be noted that the fake website is fully functioning and that clicking on any of the links will take visitors to the real Steam website.
