Yes, we know that RIM eventually plans to offer a 4G Playbook tablet. In fact, a while back images of an alleged 4G capable Playbook were leaked online and now it looks like more evidence is starting to point towards that being a possibility in the near future. In the latest Playbook OS update, heading over to the help section will reveal instructions on how to insert a micro SIM card into your tablet. For those unfamiliar, this is pretty interesting as Playbooks are currently only WiFi capable. The fact that RIM would be updating its help section on how to insert a micro SIM card could be an indication that a 4G Playbook could very well be around the corner! In any case we’ll admit that this seems somewhat of a stretch and we’ll try not to read into things too much for now. Hopefully RIM will be making an announcement soon. Until then stay tuned!
