Sennheiser has been known to put some pretty good audio products, but exactly how much are you willing to spend for some top of the line headphones and an accompanying amplifier? Well, depending on how much audio quality means to you and how deep your pockets are, you might be interested in taking a look at Sennheiser’s recently announced ceramic IE 800 earphones and the HDVD 800 headphone amp.

Starting with the earphones, these bad boys will easily set you back a whopping $787. They offer listeners a reported 5-46,000Hz audio frequency range, 7mm drivers and features stainless steel vents on the back that supposedly helps to “improve bass and airflow”. The HDVD 800 amp itself will retail for a heart stopping $1,973 and features a body made from anodized aluminum and supports 24-bit 192kHz digital sources and has ben designed specifically for the Sennheiser HD 800, HD 700, HD 650 and the HD600.

Both the Sennheiser IE 800 earphones and HDVD 800 amplifier are expected to go on sale this summer. So, any takers?
