If you are looking for a pair of active noise-cancelling true wireless earbuds, then maybe Sennheiser could have something for you as the company has since debuted the CX Plus True Wireless. These are part of the company’s CX lineup and it is also a more affordable alternative to the Momentum True Wireless 2.

To give you some context, the Momentum True Wireless 2 earbuds were launched in 2020 and were priced at $300. The CX Plus True Wireless, on the other hand, will be priced at $180, making it considerably more affordable if you don’t really need all the bells and whistles its more expensive sibling has to offer.

In terms of specs and features, the CX Plus comes with active noise-cancellation technology, an upgrade over some of its earlier models where it only featured passive cancellation. There is also an ambient sound mode, and the use of Sennheiser’s TrueResponse transducer, which apparently brings “audiophile technology” to “everyday” earbuds, or so the company claims.

The CX Plus will also feature 8 hours of battery life per full charge, and the carrying case will also provide an additional two charges, bringing the total of 24 hours. Sennheiser will begin selling the CX Plus on the 28th of September where it will be available in black or white.
