The Leav is a fancy solar powered camping concept

When you think camping, images of pitching a tent, building a fire and cooking a simple meal over it come to mind, but who’s to say we can’t go high-tech and green at the same time? Pictured above is the Leav, a concept camping solution by inventor Benjamin Charles whose goal was to create a camping solution for those who want to experience the joys of camping but would rather not dig a hole in the ground when they need to answer nature’s call.

The Leav will feature solar thermal panels that will be used to provide lighting inside of the tent, but will also deliver hot water to the kitchen and a bathroom. Yes, you read that right. It certainly sounds like a good idea and could provide campers with modern amenities while camping outdoors. While we’re not sure how one would go about transporting the Leav, head on to Benjamin Charles’ page at Coroflot to check out more images of the Leav. What do you guys think? Would you go camping in this, or do you still prefer the more rugged and traditional form of camping?
