Sennheiser is a brand name that many have come to associate with decent to high end audio products like headphones and earphones. The good news is that if you are in the market for set of headphones with Bluetooth connectivity, the company has recently outed several new additions to their range of TRAVEL headsets. These headsets will reportedly offer users enhanced streaming audio by utilizing the apt-X Codec which apparently offers audiophile level quality of sound even while streaming. The headsets are also expected to be compatible with Bluetooth-enabled devices that supports A2DP and HFP/HSP.

So what models do we get to choose from? Customers will be able to choose from the MM 400-X, MM 450-X, MM 500-X and the MM 550-X. Both the MM 450-X and the 550-X will offer users active noise canceling via Sennheiser’s NoiseGard 2.0 technology and TalkThrough technology that apparently allows wearers to communicate with people nearby without having to remove their headphones (although we think that turning the volume down should do the trick). The MM 550-X will also include SRS Labs’ SRS WOW HD technology.

While its features weren’t detailed, the MM 400-X and the MM 500-X are said to offer listeners up to 20 hours of talk time and will retail at $269.95 and $329.95 respectively. The higher-end MM 450-X and MM 550-X with NoiseGard 2.0 technology will be priced at $449.95 and $499.95 respectively. [Press release]
