Google might have kicked off an advertisement campaign for the Sony Xperia ion a wee bit too prematurely, while taking some thunder off AT&T’s hands at the same time. The Sony Xperia ion was announced at CES earlier this year in Las Vegas, but it had yet to come with a release date to roll out through AT&T’s doors. However, the Google ad has already started making its rounds, appearing whenever one searches for the Xperia ion using (what else but) Google’s very own search engine. The ad reads, “Come Exclusively to AT&T in June.” Obviously, this should always be taken with a grain of salt until something official is released for the masses to read about right from the horse’s mouth, but in the mean time, you can always start saving up this month and the next just in case the Xperia ion really rolls out in June. How much do you think the Xperia ion will be pegged to?
