Keeping to their word, Sony has just announced that Xperia S owners will be able to update their handsets to the highly-anticipated Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich. This is the latest build of Android 4.0 so it looks like you guys will be set for a while until the next iteration of ICS has been released. Apart from the usual features that comes with ICS, Sony has also announced that they will be introducing several new features of their own as well, like the Walkman, Album and Movies app. Apart from that, Xperia S owners will also be able to look forward to a lock screen with improved functionality, resizable widgets, better control over mobile data consumption, and a Recent Apps button. The update can be download over your mobile network or WiFi, or through your computer. The rollout will take place over the next few weeks, so fret not if you have yet to receive the notification informing you of the update!
