Office 2013Last week there was a rumor going on about Microsoft announcing its upcoming version of Office today (Office 15/Office 2013), and it looks like it might be spot on. According to reports online, Microsoft will be holding a webcast at 12 PM PDT where it will be announcing “news from Microsoft”. No information about the event has been released except that Steve Ballmer will be making an appearance so it should be some pretty important news, but thanks to a photograph posted on Weibo it looks like it’s going to be an Office-related event. The photograph (above) supposedly shows us the entrance to the event in San Francisco and  more importantly, the new “Office” logo.

The webcast can be streamed from Microsoft’s website, so be sure to check it out at noon PT/3PM ET if you’re interested in what’s going on. We’ll be sure to keep you posted.
