We already told you that Nintendo is prepping up a revamped version of its popular gaming console. And it’s called the Nintendo 3DS XL, a new version of the Nintendo 3DS system that features a larger screen. We also mentioned that the device will retail for $199.99 and that it will be launched this coming August 19.

But it seems like we will be getting an early hands-on this week at the Comic-Con 2012 in San Diego, California. Nintendo is announcing that it will be demonstrating the Nintendo 3DS XL at the event, and that those who are attending will have the chance to play with the new gaming console.

Additionally, Nintendo will also showcase a couple of games at the booth. The games will include the New Super Mario Bros. 2, Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, Kid Icarus: Uprising, Mario Kart 7, Super Mario 3D Land, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate, HEROES OF RUIN, KINGDOM HEARTS 3D, and LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes.
