Yesterday, we brought you news that the LG Optimus 2X which had suffered its fair share of uncertainty where the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system upgrade was concerned, might just be released for the smartphone after all, but there was every possibility of the message being lost in translation. Well, LG’s Korean branch did tweet to confirm that Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is indeed coming your way to the LG Optimus 2X, although in the same tweet, it was mentioned that “for now, that tweet only refers to Korean availability.”

This means those living outside of South Korea would be out of luck this time around, at least until there is further confirmation as to whether there will be such an update making its way internationally across all the remaining five continents.
