As some of you guys are aware, both T-Mobile and MetroPCS have agreed to a merger, and assuming Sprint does not attempt to outbid T-Mobile, it seems that both parties have revealed a tentative date in which the deal is expected to be complete. In spite of the rumors that Sprint might be looking to crash the party, T-Mobile and MetroPCS have pegged June 2013 as the date they expect the deal to finalize. However as is the case with deals of this magnitude, there needs to be approval by regulatory bodies although until then, we expect that both carriers will continue to operate as they are for the moment.
