We know that RIM plans to have at least 70,000 apps at Blackberry 10’s launch which will be taking place in a few hours and while having a larger quantity of apps is one thing, it’s another to have quality apps. After all no one really cares for an app store full of subpar apps and hastily thrown together ones, right? While it remains to be seen as to which quality and big name apps will be making its way onto Blackberry 10, those planning to get their hands on a Blackberry 10 device might be interested to learn that Rovio has revealed that they will be supporting Blackberry 10 with the Angry Birds Star Wars game which is currently priced at $0.99 on Blackberry World.
Of course we’re not saying that customers will be flocking to Blackberry 10 just for Angry Birds Star Wars, but given that the Angry Birds franchise has to be one of the most popular mobile games since its launch, having it attached to Blackberry 10 is at the very least a good sign of quality, big name apps that we might be able to expect.
