HTC’s foray into the Windows Phone 8 scene was marked by the HTC Windows Phone 8S and 8X, which were not exactly flagship models in their own right, but came with the right kind of specifications to get the job done. I would say that Nokia has got hold of the Windows Phone 8 monopoly at this point in time, but it seems that HTC is not quite done with Microsoft’s mobile operating system just yet, according to a leaked specifications sheet that points toward a new Windows Phone 8 device from HTC, known as the HTC Tiara.

Despite a rather grandiose name, the HTC Tiara will fall under the mid-range category, coming with a 4.3” WVGA display, 1GB RAM, an 8-megapixel camera at the back, with a rumored dual-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon processor. It is also said that the HTC Tiara will come with Windows Phone 8 GDR2 right out of the box, clearly marking this to be a new operating system update from what we have at the moment. Any one would like to speculate on how much this puppy would cost when it arrives? [photo courtesy of UnwiredView]
