489157We’re sure that there are many Final Fantasy fans out there who are sick of waiting for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn to exit beta and make its way into their hands. Well the good news is that if you are one of those fans, the 27th of August 2013 will be a date you’ll want to mark down on your calendars because it seems that that is the date that Square Enix has revealed to be when gamers will be able to get their hands on the game. Technically we guess this is a re-release since the game was originally released a couple of years ago, but due to bugs and poor response, Square Enix has gone back to the drawing board and came out with A Realm Reborn.

There will also be a Collector’s Edition of the game that more ardent fans of the game can pick up. The Collector’s Edition will sport a limited edition box designed by FF artist Yoshitaka Amano. It will also come with an 80-page hardcover art book, a CD soundtrack, 5 art cards, a physical movie disc that shows the events leading up to A Realm Reborn, and the game itself. It will also come with digital goodies such as a Helm of Light, a Coeurl Mount, the Behemoth Barding armor and a baby Behemoth Minion. So, who’s excited at finally being able to play the game?
