Lian Li PC-TU100 Mini ITX Chassis Announced

tu100-01Gaming PCs for the most part have been characterized by the giant tower casings, fancy LED lights and water cooling systems. If you’re not a fan of all that bling and would rather have something a little more subdued, smaller, more mobile and more “practical”, case maker Lian Li has unveiled their latest briefcase chassis which is part of the company’s TU series, the PC-TU100 Mini-ITX Chassis. Made out of aluminum, the PC-TU100 is said to be more compact than the PC-TU200 and as you can see in the image above, comes with a handle at the top that allows for easy transportation to LAN parties and whatnot.

The chassis measures 158x275x242mm (WxHxD) and weighs 1.77kg. It will support two 2.5” hard drives or SSDs, or an additional 2.5” drive which can be placed into the optical bay drive if you have no need for one. The case will also play nice with graphic cards up to 190mm in length, and SFX power supply units up to 170mm. As far as cooling is concerned, the PC-TU100 comes with a 120mm intake fan in the front with a removable air filter. The PC-TU100 will also come with two USB 3.0 ports in the front and HD audio connections. Available at the end of June in black and silver, the Lian Li PC-TU100 chassis will be priced at $109.99.
