Line-sticker-gifts-630x400There are a ton of messaging apps out there, and of them is called Line. Some of you guys are probably familiar with the app, with one of its signature features being the ability to send “stickers”, purchase new stickers and send them to friends as gifts. Well the bad news is that if you and your friends regularly exchange stickers as gifts from time to time, it seems that the feature will no longer be available. According to Line, Apple has requested the developers to remove the feature from their app although they did not state why. Perhaps it might have violated one of Apple’s App Store terms and conditions, but in any case the feature will no longer be available.

However for users who have bought Coins to use as money to purchase the stickers to send to friends, you’re in luck because if you still have over 100 Coins remaining, you can use those to send stickers until you’re out of them. For users with 50 Coins, Line seems to be more than happy to top you up to 100 Coins just so you can finish up your credit. In the meantime regular sticker purchasing for yourself is unaffected, and sending free stickers as gifts is still available, and iPhone users can still receive stickers as gifts from Android users.
