We picked up on the alleged Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom in the first week of May. It was rumored back then that this device will tout a 16 megapixel camera and will be announced during the summer. Another rumor about this device was that it may also support 10x optical zoom, which if it does, will seriously blow the likes of Nokia 808 PureView out of the water, which as 3x optical zoom. An alleged test shot taken with Galaxy S4 Zoom also popped up online a fortnight ago, it revealed that the camera had 4mm focal length with an 8.8 aperture.

It is now being rumored that the Galaxy S4 Zoom will be unveiled by Samsung at its June 20th press conference in London. It will reportedly be similar in design to Galaxy S4 mini. Purported specifications include a 4.3 inch 540×960 Super AMOLED display, a 1.6GHz dualcore processor with Android Jelly Bean OS, microSD support and 8GB internal storage as well as 1,900 mAh battery. Once again the 16 megapixel camera and 10x optical zoom have been rumored. Is Samsung really going to unveil this device on 20th June? Time will tell.
