The dual SIM HTC One is only sold in China, and HTC has started rolling out Android 4.2.2 update for it. The update brings a host of improvements and enhancements for the device. Android 4.2.2 is pre-installed on the Google Play Edition HTC One, its the regular version of this device that still waits for this update, the version that’s been shipped all around the world. There’s still no confirmation as to when Android 4.2.2 for HTC One will be released

The update has already been confirmed a number of times. According to the latest rumors, HTC One Android 4.2.2 update might be released in the end of July, though there’s no confirmation from the company on this time-frame. One can only hope that it is rolled out soon. Customers now have a very good option available to them in the form of HTC One Google Play Edition, which not only comes with Android 4.2.2 out of the box, it is said to be one of the few smartphones out there right now which will be updated to Android 4.3. The red HTC One will also be shipping, in the U.K., with Android 4.2.2 pre-installed. Lets all just keep our fingers crossed for the regular version.
