Final Fantasy fans have probably been looking forward to the remastered version of Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD as both games have a huge fan following. Square Enix released trailers and screenshots of the game in action in the past, but the company has release a brand-new trailer that highlights all of the work that was put into the remastering of both titles.
The trailer Square Enix published today features a particular scene within Final Fantasy X where they compare the SD and HD versions within a split-screen video. As you’ll see in the video, some serious work was put into the HD version of Final Fantasy X / X-2 as you can see there’s more detail in the game’s environments, characters and special effects.
In addition to the video, Square Enix has also announced those who pre-order Final Fantasy X / X-2 will automatically be upgraded to the Limited Edition version which includes an exclusive 24-page art book as well as commentary from the original Final Fantasy X / X-2 development teams with a special message from the game’s producer, Yoshihori Kitase. The Limited Edition will be made available across major retailers in North America.
